All Work is Not Production
One can be busy, but with low levels of low productivity in the workplace. There is a phrase that people use and that is that it is better to work smart than work hard. That alone can motivate a person in a workplace. Working hard has been something humans have been doing since the beginning of time. Nevertheless, in the generation that we are living in with technology, gadgets and simplified appliances, is one disadvantaged when they work hard instead of working smart?
Working smart involves spending less time in the workplace, delegating certain jobs and being able to sit and watch productivity in the workplace happening. You can easily do business through your cell phone and your computer. Another advantage of working smart is that you can easily work from home.
What motivates a person to wake up early and go to work? Is it the passion for the job, or is it the paycheck at the end of the week? The individual can only answer these questions. All one can say is that it’s important to be motivated in the workplace, be it at home or in the office, whether you are working hard or working smart, it all increases productivity in the workplace.
