After all, work is work. However, there are certainly some ways to motivate yourself to do better, even if your body and your brain seemingly don’t want to be motivated. Here are a few:

Remember what you are working for. Do you need the money to take care of your family? Are you saving up for a brand new car? Do you just want to retire comfortably? Tell yourself everyday when you wake up that you are doing your work for that. In the end, you’ll find that all that self-motivation translated into hard work, and all that hard work turned into your goals and dreams.

Treat your work as a challenge. You can do better if you feel like you are being challenged and raising your productivity in the workplace. Even the most menial jobs can be fun to do if you challenge yourself. Try to strive to be better than what is expected from you. You will work harder, and you’ll reach your dreams faster.
