Being successful sometimes means you have to be a team player. Being part of a team can be a very rewarding experience. It means not all of the work, or blame, falls on your shoulders. It also means sharing your successes with the group.

Workplaces generally require some level of teamwork. Marriage is also a smaller version of a team. If all the players aren’t in sync, it can spell disaster. And there will obviously be disagreements amongst any group of people, but the key is to compromise and find common ground.

Never dismiss the ideas of your teammates without any consideration. Someone else’s suggestion may not be in line with what you had in mind, but it doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Often, by putting several ideas together, you can come up with a better plan than anyone on the team could have come up with on their own.
