It happens to everyone. You feel sad and alone sometimes. If you’re feeling that way on a regular basis, though, it’s probably time to do something about it.
If you’re dealing with lonesome sadness because you live alone and have few friends, or no close family, then your first step should be to put forth the effort to meet new people. This is not always easy, but can be achieved by joining a gym or a sports team, or by attending an art class or some other social activity in your area.
If you have plenty of friends and family, but still feel lonely and sad, the problem may just be coming from within yourself.
Once you begin to emit positive energy to those around you, you will be far more likely to get positive energy in return. A true friend will love you, even when you’re in a bad mood, but if you allow yourself to get too far down, it can be hard for even those who love you the most to hang in there.
Loneliness is a state of mind. If you always feel lonely or sad, you probably need to reevaluate your needs and start healing yourself. The first step is usually trying to think more happy thoughts.
