Solving Problems with Alcohol the Right Way

Alcohol is not the answer.

Alcohol: Burden or Bonus?

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Wellbeing, and Peak Human Performance.

Like anything else, too much of something may be a bad thing. Drinking alcohol isn’t, in itself, bad, but if it becomes a priority rather than a bonus, you may have an issue.

My advice is to keep your drinking habit in check. Like everything else, this takes conscious reflection. If your drinking causes problems in your life or those around you, then you have a problem.

If you’re honest with your reflection and refuse to make excuses, then you should be able to decide your plan of action. When do you drink the most? Where are you when you make mistakes that are causing problems? If your answer is with a certain person, at a certain place or when you’re in a certain mindset, then the logical thing to do is figure out what other actions you can do to to offset this habit.

In other words if you drink when you’re depressed or insecure, decide to go exercise instead of having a beer. If you drink when you hang out with a certain person, then be intentional with other relationships. If you get into trouble when you go to a certain bar, avoid that bar.

Obviously, this is hard to do. You drink because it’s social, fun and relaxing. The problem is relying on drinking to be social, fun and relaxed. If you don’t have these qualities in life without alcohol, then something about your life needs to change. Focus on other ways to bring these factors, and bring alcohol into the bonus category rather than the focus.

A Professional Speaker Uses Lifestyle Design to Get Where They Want

Designing your lifestyle is one of the many practices used by professional speakers.

Actively designing their lifestyle is one of the many practices a professional speaker will use to be successful.

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Well Being and Peak Human Performance.

Expert professional speaker Andy Core knows that he and any other leadership speaker lives the life they want because they designed it that way. Here are the top ways Andy maintains a successful lifestyle design:

  • Know thyself. One of the reasons behind Andy’s success is that he knows what he wants and how to get it. This means reaching out to others, volunteering, learning new skills and hobbies, and maintaining it all on a regular basis.
  • Have a plan. You’ll almost never find your way to a new city if you don’t Google the directions, figure out what form of transportation you’re going to use, and pack according to the weather. Your lifestyle design is exactly the same. Map out how you want your life to look, learn how to travel to the end product, and adapt yourself to the situation.
  • Create a safety net. This isn’t so that you can rest on your laurels and take it easy, but ensuring that you have a backup in place in case anything goes wrong. Life is unpredictable at best and the more potential surprises you prepare for, the better.
  • Take it one step at a time. A professional speaker knows that Rome wasn’t built in a day and the same approach is taken with lifestyle design. Start slowly, but go surely.

A professional speaker will always build a solid foundation to enact their vision of how they want their lives to look and what it means to be successful, and Andy is no exception.

Professional Speaker’s Advice: Reach Your Goal Effectively

Be able to achieve all your life's goals by executing your actions well instead of being stuck in planning things out. Seek for a professional speaker's assistance.

Listen to the advice of a professional speaker and you can achieve all your life’s goals by executing your actions well.

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Wellbeing and Peak Human Performance.

A renowned professional speaker, Andy Core, understands that people tend to have overwhelming goals listed on their planners and diaries. These goals are meant to be achieved and not just displayed on a sheet of paper. In order for you to be able to work on these goals, you are required to strategize in different aspects. Here are some points to keep in mind.

Do Not Be Too “Overwhelmed

Make sure you prioritize actions that are most beneficial to you, rather than achieving many little goals that have no effect that will benefit your goal. Therefore, you have to weigh things and work on those you ultimately want to achieve.

Do Not Be Too Stressed

Though you want to attain a certain goal, make sure you do not over extend yourself. A professional speaker will tell you to learn to take some breaks at times. After resting, you may be able to find other ways to achieve your goals. If you think you are not capable of working on your goal alone, seeking assistance from the people who care about you will not lessen the value of your goal.

Take real actions do not just plan. Make sure you execute your plans well in order for you to acquire something. Planning is a necessary part of reaching goals but you have to put the plan into action in order to move toward your goal.

Be guided by Andy Core and you will achieve your life’s goals effectively.
