In order to maintain the timings during which you get your sleep every day, it is crucial that you get synced with your body’s natural sleep cycle
Set a regular bedtime. Aim to go head to bed at the same time every day. Figure out the point of time during a day at which you feel exhausted and try hitting the bed around that time. Also, do your best not to break the routine by staying up late during the weekends. Moreover, if you need to change the timings at which you go to bed usually, then do it by letting your body adapt to the new timings gradually. Keep increasing or decreasing half hour from your usual timings every other day until your body is able to synchronize to the timings you’re hoping to adhere to.
If you feel sleepy earlier than your usual bedtime
At times you may find yourself getting really drowsy way before your regular bedtime. During such instances, you can beat the sleepiness by engaging in any sort of activity that will help to stimulate your brain for example playing a video game, talking to a friend over the phone etc. If you give in to the drowsiness, you may wake up later in the night and have trouble getting back to sleep.
