Fad diets never work out and will
simply fail you big time in the
long run!

Fad-diets, diet pills or extreme diets will always fail you sooner or later and the reasons behind are:

They cut out essential macronutrients.  Fad diets that eradicate an entire group of macronutrients such as protein diets or High-carb or zero fat diets, are unrealistic, unhealthy and will simply fail you in the long run. The best way to lose weight and maintain it is to practice moderation. Cutting out a singular macronutrient completely will lead to nutritional and hormonal imbalances which can actually cause you to put on extra weight after a while.

You’ll lose weight but you’ll have trouble keeping it off.  When it comes to extreme diets that reduce your caloric intake severely they only work for a short time period.  Once switch back to normal eating, you will surely gain the some of the weight back. Moreover, you’ll put on the weight more quickly since restricting calories slows down your metabolism.

You feel as if you are deprived. Since fad diets make you feel deprived, you are more likely to cheat on such diet plans. Cheating once in a while won’t do you much harm, but when it comes to fad diets individuals feel the need to cheat frequently. The binging and under-eating cycle will put too much stress on your body and will wreak havoc on your metabolism.

In order to function properly our bodies require that we maintain an appropriate PH balance. Our body’s PH value is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity level of our bodies and it changes from 0-14. A PH of 0 is known to be purely acidic and a PH of 14 is meant to be entirely alkaline. Scientists concur that our body’s ideal PH level is meant to fall in the range of 6-8.

Maintaining a proper PH balance is vital for the optimal functioning of our body’s metabolism, organs and its immune system. Moreover it also plays its part in promoting healthy bone health. Additionally, sustaining a healthy PH balance is essential for loosing weight.

All foods by nature are either acidic in nature or alkaline. When aiming to lose weight, you have to keep an eye on your body’s acid-alkaline balance. A diet plan that is high in acidic foods is known to promote fat gain. This is because in order to metabolize the excess acid, our bodies have to generate a surplus of fat so as to neutralize the effect. Although a few of the fat cells might get expelled out of our bodies, the residual simply get stored on it. Hence this mechanism caused us to gain weight. Foods that are acidic in nature include grains, refined flours, meats etc. While foods that are alkaline include fruits, vegetables, healthy oils etc.

Fasted cardio will help you burn more fat.

Fasted cardio will help you burn more fat.

Are you wondering whether or not you should integrate fasted cardio into your existing fitness routine? Could fasted cardio really help you lose weight quicker? Though it is a known fact that doing cardio in a fed state will aid in burning off calories, what is important to note is that these calories might not essentially be burning off adipose fat.

The basic idea supporting fasted cardio is that, on an empty stomach in order to provide fuel for our workouts, our bodies are more likely to dunk into our fat stores instead of glycogen (which is basically is carbs).

After being not fed for more than a few hours, our bodies are known to be in a fasted mode, where they use up all the carbs (glycogen) that already exists in our bodies and ones these carb stores diminish, our bodies finally begin to burn fat instead. At this stage the body is known to have switched a fat burning metabolism, where it solely burns off our stored fat to provide us with energy that we require to perform our daily activities. Therefore aim to add in fasted cardio to your daily workouts and try doing it in the mornings.
