Never Waste Your Time Trying to Impress Others | Leadership Advice

Gotta love The Breakfast Club

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Well-being, and Peak Human Performance.

Each of us only has so much energy and time in a day, and for most of us, wasting this energy and time is the last thing that we want to do.

As a speaker who works to make others more energized and productive, I want to express that it’s a huge waste of time and resources to impress others. Instead of caring what other people think, we should reflect on each day we have and make every day better than the one before.

You should prioritize and remember what’s really important to you in your life so that you can be happy with yourself. No one really cares what kind of car you drive or how big your house is and if they do, they don’t matter.

If you choose friends based on their bank account and assets, you’re likely missing out on getting to know many quality people. Appreciate your accomplishments, love the good people in your life, do as much as you can with what you have and be kind to everyone you meet. If you make every day about this rather than what other’s think, you will find peace and success.

Love and Be Loved: Put More Love In This World

If you put love into the world, you will get more love back

If you put love into the world, you will get more love back

Love is one of the greatest joys in life. It can also cause some of the most painful experiences in your life. However, most people would agree that the great feelings you can get from loving and being loved by other people far outweigh the risks.

In order to receive love, you must also give love. You should express that love clearly and do your best not to hurt the people you care about. And love isn’t all about loving people. You can also be passionate about your work, your hobbies, and more.

Finding a job you can love can be difficult, but it’s not impossible. You have to set career goals based on what you want to do, and on what is feasible for you and your family. If you are lucky enough to work in a field that matters to you, your love can help spur you on to do great things.

Certain hobbies can also be very worthwhile. Putting your love and dedication into your hobbies may also help others. No matter what you spend your time doing, doing things with love is so much more fulfilling than just trudging through each day without feeling.

10 Types of Boss You Should Never Be

Terrible Bosses

Do your employees love or hate you as their boss? Figure out NOW!

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Wellbeing and Peak Human Performance.

A professional speaker, Andy Core asks you to figure out if you are being loved or hated by your employees.

Being a good leader requires you to execute a good working relation towards your subordinates. In order for you to figure out if you are hated or loved, here are some types of boss that employees would never want to work with. Do you think you are one of them?

  • The Mean. There are bosses who say things without thinking about their employees feelings. Others may say that employees should learn the hard way in order for them to effectively provide the quality the company is seeking. Being mindful about others’ feelings is essential. Maintaining a good relationship will always provide a lighter aura at work.
  • The Glad-Hander. Being appreciative is surely a good attitude, but over-doing things will lead to a questioning mind, trying to figure out if what they have heard is still believable. Though appreciation drives employees to providing their work efficiently, it would still be best if it were given only when it is truly deserved.
  • The Idea Thief. Oh yes, these should really be hated! Some bosses would steal their employee’s ideas, claiming them as if they were their own.
  • The Liars. Who would like liars, anyway? Some may say, “Oh, it’s just a way to drive the employees.” Though the intentions are nice, it misleads the employees. False expectations are not great for a good working relationship.

Andy Core, a professional speaker, wants you to figure out if you are one of these disliked bosses. We surely hope you are not!
