Better to Compete with Yourself. Not the pressure of others.

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Wellbeing, and Peak Human Performance.

Competition can be good because it encourages you to push your limits and achieve more. However, if the focus of your competition is simply trying to be better than others in life, competition can eventually have a negative impact on your life. You are unique and there is no need to try to outdo others in all areas of life.

Instead, compete with yourself. Let your daily goal to do a well or better than you did yesterday. Competing with others and fulfilling some arbitrary goal is no way to live. Instead, be you you are, and improve upon that. Let other’s encourage you rather than pressure you. And don’t pressure yourself. Work with your talents and passions and build on that. When you constantly strive to improve yourself you will achieve great things and reach your goals. Competing with others will just waste your time and resources and ultimately not bring you any worthwhile rewards. Listen to a leadership speaker to learn about healthy competition.

That being said, it’s good to work towards your goals with others. It’s much easier to stay motivated when you’re dieting or exercising with others. Don’t compete with them. Just work toward’s your goals with others and be encouraged to keep going.

Don’t Always Know Best, You May be Wrong Sometimes

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Wellbeing, and Peak Human Performance.

Unless you are an omnipotent wizard, you may be wrong sometimes.

Unless you are an omnipotent wizard,
you may be wrong sometimes.

You may be very intelligent, and you may even be right most of the time. But no person is right all of the time and no one is perfect, so you always have room for improvement. It is important to remember that you don’t always know best.

While it’s true that you may usually know what’s best for yourself, it is not your decision what’s best for others, except in the case of your own baby or young child. You may think you know what someone else should do with his or her life, and you may even offer advice, but in the end, you have to realize that you’re not always right.

Part of life is accepting that everyone is different, and as such, different things work for different people at different times. Every situation is not the same, and what works well for you on one day may not work for someone else on another day, no matter how similar the situations may be.

While it can be painful to watch others do something you think is a mistake, you have to allow people to live their own lives, just as you would want them to do for you. You are not all-knowing, and you are not responsible for everyone else’s lives.

Motivational Keynote Speaker: Train Yourself for Success

Motivational keynote speaker suggests setting aside a part of your day for self-development

Motivational keynote speaker suggests setting aside a part of your day for self-development.

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Well Being and Peak Human Performance.

Motivational keynote speakers often advise employees always to strive to be their best. To be the best, you have to keep improving yourself. Develop your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses. In other words, train yourself for success.

Set aside a part of your day for self-development. It could be two hours or it could be twenty minutes. As long as you find the time to continue trying to be a better person everyday, you’re already on your way to success. Don’t be complacent, because there’s always something new to learn about the ever-evolving world.

Try to make it fun. You shouldn’t feel like you’re forcing yourself to work. Try to make it feel as natural as possible. Attempt to make it a daily hobby and habit, so the activity should give you joy. If it begins to feel like you’re forcing yourself to train, the hobby will not stick. If this happens, find another way to train yourself.

Make it a part of your life. As with the previous point, you should feel like you want to do it daily. You should feel motivated to do the activity not only because it will lead to self-improvement but also because it makes you happy.

Don’t give up. Again, you should never think that what you are right now is the best that you can be. Motivational keynote speakers remind us always to keep building yourself for the future.

The true key to success is you never stop improving yourself. Keep working on your skills and you will rise above the rest. Keep motivating yourself to train and a motivational keynote speaker can guarantee a road to success, and your dreams.
