Worry often has serious health implications if done excessively.

Worry often has serious health implications if done excessively. Professional Speaker Andy Core says worry puts a limit on the world of possibilities.

The Origins of Worry

Worry generally is that feeling you experience because of being concerned over a certain situation or problem. When you worry about something, you often tend to think a lot and spend hours doing nothing but just think of the various possible outcomes of a situation, and in your mind, they always end up bad. As people worry repeatedly they may start experiencing anxiety, and in some extreme cases, panic. Sometimes you will develop a feeling of doom and because of your worry; you start to worry about worrying. Whenever someone is worried, the person becomes very protective and defensive, especially when others criticise them, viewing this as a threat.

When you develop chronic worry, your daily life is affected so much that you might even not eat, changes in the may you interact with people may develop, your sleeping pattern interrupted, and so on. Some people think the solutions to worry are harmful lifestyle habits that include smoking, among others. Any professional speaker will advise against such attempts to avoid what it is that has you worried.

So What is Anxiety?

This is just a normal reaction to any stress you experience. On going however, is quite different as it may develop from generalized anxiety disorder, panics and even social anxiety. Anxiety can just shoot up from almost any situation, imagine that day you came from that interview you had been waiting on for a long time.

Professional speaker Andy Core concludes that when you let worry take over in your life, you can never be bold enough to make those decisions that matter in your life and that can bring you a break through.

Two Ways Professional Speakers Show Confidence

Blowing your own trumpet is an art that you need to master.

The art of Bragging (the humble way)

So what do professional speakers call a humble brag? Most people think when you brag you often will sound very boastful and most likely going to be disapproved by people.  The trick is t speak confidently about yourself without being boastful or at least without showing or giving that impression. If you see anyone who doesn’t like talking about themselves, that individual is not confident of them. Whenever you pass on an opportunity to talk about yourself you are missing out on an opportunity to sell yourself and let people make assumptions about you. Talking about yourself is a chance to set the record straight once and for all. What you need t understand is that for you to be able to sell your character successfully you need to be able you inform people about you in a way they will understand You can never go wrong with that approach.

Speaking Tactfully

When you are selling yourself, you need to take care and make sure you speak of yourself in a tactful manner. Many people can start a blog today, have a million posts and not once write in the first person. These people are often afraid to share what they have experienced. Some of them are just uninformed and don’t see the need for people to know them. When you talk about yourself, people can relate with you more, after all, no one is going to go research who you are and what you are all about. Professional speakers often say you ‘gotta bring the mountain to Mohammed,’ and tell them about yourself.

Let Go of Your Fears for Better Success

Don’t let your nerves get in the way of your success

Don’t let your nerves get in the way of your success

When you want to succeed, you have to go for it. It can be easy to live in a bubble and worry about taking any chances, but if you want to make advances, you have to let go of your fears. Get out and do your best, and let the chips fall where they may.

Don’t be afraid of what people think, or that you will fail. Even if you don’t succeed the first time, it’s better to try than to regret not trying later. A successful life is not for the faint-hearted. You must be willing to put yourself out there if you want to make big strides.

It can be hard to face up to your fears. You can’t dwell on your shortcomings, but must try to overcome them. In addition, play up your best qualities, and build on them to work your way to the top.

Confidence can take you a long way, so try to be sure of yourself. And when you’re feeling less than confident, try to appear as if you know what you’re doing anyway. You can achieve many great things, simply by letting go of your fears and going after what you want with a vengeance.

Confidence Tips for Business Motivational Speakers

The formula to failure when speaking in front of people is opening your mouth without any clue whatsoever about your audience.

When you are a business motivational speaker you need a way to find common ground with your audience so they will warm up to you before you start your presentation.

A business motivational speaker will tell you that the formula to failure when speaking in front of people is opening your mouth without any clue about your audience. Make sure you know at least two solid aspects of the audience and use them to relate to the audience. For example, going to Chicago, make some reference to the Chicago Bulls basketball team or Chicago Bears football team. Start with a common ground. It opens up the atmosphere and gives you control. No matter what crowd you get, make sure you always start with the good stuff you have prepared. This allows you to make an impression on the audience and whatever you say after usually won’t change their minds because, at that moment, you would have won their hearts.Give Your Best

Blend In

You can never be guaranteed that you will always talk to the crowd you want to talk to. This means that in order to be effective, you need to ensure that you take the initiative and find common ground. After all, you are the business motivational speaker who is looking to put a point across. Whenever you show the audience that you don’t like being where you are, it will put them off as easily as having a friendly manner can draw them in.

Blending in and giving your best in the beginning will allow you as a speaker to give the audience the impression that you know what you are doing and you are going to be a resource to them as a business motivational speaker.

Importance of Confidence to a Prospective Professional Speaker

As a prospective speaker, you are at a disadvantage because you are not known and one thing that can boost your presence and your impact is your ability to project your inner confidence to your audience.

Wanting to be a professional speaker means that you have to have confidence in what you are saying. When you speak confidently, your audience will believe you know what you are talking about.

Andy Core is an expert in Work-Life Balance, Well Being and Peak Human Performance.

Why You Need to be Confident

As a prospective professional speaker, you are at a disadvantage because you are not known. One thing that can boost your presence and your impact is your ability to project your inner confidence to your audience. Confidence is not something you have when you are talking to people and then loose it as soon as you are done with your speech. It will never be effective if it is a part time thing. Make sure you emulate confidence in your way of life. That way you can project an aspect of your life to the audience and that can help you reach the audience on a personal level.

Always be Prepared

It is always good to thank your audience for doing you a huge favor by listening to you inspire them. What contributes to your confidence, as well as the level at which you communicate with your audience, is determined largely by how well prepared you are. Taking the platform as a professional speaker without being adequately prepared is something that is both disrespectful to the audience, as well as your integrity as a speaker.

Confidence is very important for any speaker and every speaker should aim to be confident in front of people. Confident speakers often have an advantage because they can easily manipulate the crowd, to put across a point. If you can master confidence, you have mastered being a professional speaker.
