Plant a Tree and Watch it Grow

Most people would love to leave a legacy and be remembered long after they are gone. A lot of people will indeed live on in the hearts and memories of their loved ones. Therefore, the seeds you plant today will likely go on for generations after you leave this world.

It has been said that the shade you enjoy today is there because someone planted a tree a long time ago. This is true in both the literal and the metaphorical senses. Nourishing your family tree will help it to grow strong and live on for decades.

It’s so important that you plant the right seeds, especially when you are a parent or caregiver for a child. You should always try to lead by example and make it possible for others to be positively influenced by you. Be loving and kind, and work hard, but always make time for your family.

Your name may not be remembered in households several generations from now, but the seeds you planted will shape the next generation, which will in turn influence the next, and so on. The way you behave now can make the world a better place, even many, many years down the road.

Raising Positive Thinkers-How To Go About Such

If you’re a parent, you want your children to be successful in life. The most important thing you can do is to be a positive role model. Good or bad, your child will most likely grow up to be a lot like you, even if they seem different on the surface.

Spend time having fun with your children, and showing them the power of happiness.

showing them the power of happiness.

As the old saying goes, you should practice what you preach. You can lecture your children until you’re blue in the face, but if you’re not living an exemplary life, your children will probably follow your actions, rather than the words that come out of your mouth.

In addition, you cannot build your children up enough. Although you definitely need to correct them and even punish bad behavior reasonably, you should speak positively to and about your children. Spend time with them, caring for them and helping them learn.

Make sure they know that making mistakes is okay, but continuing to make the same errors in judgment is not. Let them know that your love and pride in them is not conditional, although you may not be fond of some of the decisions they make.

Most of all, show your children how to behave. Let them learn from you the power of positive thinking and the results of focusing on the good, even in bad situations. Do your best to be what you want your children to be, and let them follow your lead.
