In the real world, people have to take responsibility for their actions. Even if you have a valid excuse, chances are that whomever you’ve harmed with your shortcomings will not be that interested in hearing excuses.
Anyone who wants to be successful in life must stop blaming the actions of others and step up to the plate. Bad things happen to everyone, and although some things will cause a bump in the road, you have to deal with whatever is going on and keep up with your responsibilities.
There is no doubt that you will make mistakes in your life. It’s also quite possible that things beyond your control will throw you off from time to time. That means you may have to put in a little extra work every now and then. You may be late on a deadline, or you may miss an important family event.
The best thing you can do is apologize. You may explain what caused the problem, but it won’t help anyone, least of all yourself, if you simply sit and complain about the unfairness that has come your way. Life isn’t always fair, and you have to deal with it, through positive action, not negative words.
