People wake up every weekday and sometimes on weekends to go to work. Most people work on computers the whole day. This can be a stifling routine and employees can get bored and lose their enthusiasm for the job. It takes motivation for there to be productivity in the workplace. Some companies are trying to make the employees more resourceful to the company by trying to meet each person’s personal needs when the time arises.
Some companies offer packages to the employees that will make the business thrive because the employees are motivated to work. Even when there are such opportunities, there will always be employees who don’t want to make a real contribution to the company. They just want to work minimum hours for maximum pay. To increase productivity in the workplace, employees like these need to be dealt with so that they don’t discourage other employees.
Customer is King
As well as taking care of the employee the company needs to also prioritize the customer. Offering discounts on certain products and services pertaining to the customer is a great way of enticing the customer and creating productivity.
Having a suggestion box for the employees and a place where they can comment about making improvement in the company can make them feel as if he or she is special, therefore encouraging productivity in the workplace.
