Overworking

This is one of the main reasons why people are stressed in the workplace today. No matter how great your capacity, when you have too much to do and little time to do it, combined with pressure from management, you are bound to be stressed at some point in time.

Under Working

The opposite of the above has the same effect. When you just sit and do nothing or when you workload isn’t challenging enough, you seem to be paid for nothing. While this might be true, you will find that people often are stressed as a result

Job Security

With the economies of the world ever changing due to various factors, job security can often cause stress. With many people not being sure what might happen next, there are higher chances that they will be stressed by the uncertainty and productivity in the office can certainly suffer.

Progress

It is no secret that people wants to be in motion, even in the corporate world. This is because people like to progress so that they feel they are working towards something. Stress can arise if the job doesn’t allow an employee to progress from their current position.

The Job

Sometimes when you get a job that you are not exactly qualified for, you will always feel inferior, and in essence that is a ticking time bomb.

These causes can result in low productivity in the workplace.
