Depression is a deep pit that is hard to climb out of. Professional speaker Andy Core cites feeling sorry for yourself as a major barrier to success.

Don’t Think Negative

Negative thoughts and attitudes often affect us in a number of ways and will eventually consume us. Sometimes those closest to us do a great job in reminding us of our shortcomings or things we want to erase quickly from our life. You might find yourself in that place where you feel sorry for yourself and these reminders won’t do you any good. You need to shut out these negative thoughts and people so that you can stop going back to that place. There is no need for people to remind you what you already know.

Move On

The reason why we often feel sorry for ourselves is that we often are stuck in thought on something of the past. Stop dwelling on things of the past and move on to the future. Nothing productive will come from thinking about how bad the situation you are in is. The best you can do is start doing something about the situation and it starts with moving on from what has already happened.

Exercise Trick Never Gets Old

Exercises never get old. They are a traditional and still working method of letting off steaming. You often feel like you have taken a load off your shoulders once you have exercised. It doesn’t matter what you are going to do as long as it’s exercise like jogging or walking, etc. Professional speaker Andy Core says it’s your choice and the effect is the same.
