Be Inspired

Professional speaker Andy Core says the only way you can use comparing is to get inspired to achieve more in your life. Never copy from others, it can be very dangerous. When you copy what others are doing, you will lose focus of your own goals and most probably don’t even know what that person is aiming to achieve. This means that you will have to figure out who you are all over again. However, let other people’s experiences be a source of inspiration. For example, just because Michael Jordan became a great basketball player, but also had many failures, it doesn’t mean you should be a basketball player. A professional speaker will tell you that it only means learn a lesson and apply it to your life.

Appreciate Your Uniqueness

One thing many people fail to appreciate is that they are unique. You should learn to see those unique attributes that you possess and try to use them to your advantage. They don’t need to be major attributes; they just have to be unique no matter how minor they are. If you fail to appreciate yourself, chances are you will become jealous of others.

Your uniqueness will always be your point of strength. Look for any professional speaker and you will find they all appreciate their uniqueness and that makes them stand out.
