Why are pets so good for your health?
Pets lower your stress levels, it has been medically proven that petting your cat or dog actually lowers blood pressure levels and stimulates endorphins which add to your overall sense of well-being. Taking your dog for a walk is a good way to get exercise and take a break and stop worrying for a while about work, money or other problems in your life.
Your immunity and overall health are tied into your sense of happiness and pets contribute to a sense of wellbeing overall. Pets offer you unconditional love; however bad your day has been, if you own a dog, you’ll have someone who will love you no matter how you look or feel.
Buying a dog is a long term investment, remember a dog is not just for a holiday gift but you will have responsibilities that will last for a lifetime.
However, owning a dog or a cat is a pleasure that will pay off in the long term for your good health.
