Some may think that having a friend in a workplace is unnecessary as it may result in conflicts, especially concerning productivity in the workplace. This is undoubtedly not true. Working is much easier if you have a great environment, and that starts when you have great friends in your chosen career.
You stay in your office for at least eight hours a day. Wouldn’t it horrible if you have no one to speak with? On the other hand, if there is someone interested, most topics are just work related, which are definitely boring or stressful. It would be great if you could have a friend you could talk with, especially during break times as it gives you a breath of fresh air, which may result in better productivity in the workplace.
Though it may not be positive at most times, problems usually occur if you have chosen the wrong person to befriend. Find a co-worker who has a great personality and he will become a huge help on improving your performance in your chosen career. It may be hard at first, but when you finally get along with the person you have chosen, various benefits may be seen right away.
Gain friends that will push you to increased productivity in the workplace and you will be more effective in the position you are in. Motivational speaker Andy Core can provide insights into making friends at work.
