Monday mornings stink don’t they?  That bleary feeling of another long week ahead and endless sitting at one’s desk, phone calls, emails and the boss may just call you into his office to “have a word”  With that terrifying look which makes us feel six years old again.

Why don’t you feel like this on Tuesdays?  We have been conditioned by media, others in the office and those around us to detest Monday mornings.  After two days of recreational activities with loved ones, our minds have this automatic alarm clock which sounds off in our heads on Sunday night forewarning us of the dreaded Monday morning.  It doesn’t have to be like this.  Okay, you might not be bounding out of bed on Monday morning, but what has Monday ever done to you?  It’s just a day, like the other six days in the week.  We spend all weekend avoiding the Monday morning blues.  By the time we get to Monday lunchtime, most of us have forgotten about it.
