Guilt can be a powerful
emotion, but don’t let it keep
you from being productive

You will never be free to do great things until you stop feeling bad about your past. Everyone does things her or she is not proud of. However, after you have done what you can to make amends, there comes a time when you just have to move on. Come to terms with whatever you’ve done, and allow yourself to heal.

In order to let go of guilt for past wrongdoings, the best thing you can do is to live well now. Continue to do good things for others and yourself, and you will probably feel the weight start to lift off of your shoulders. After all, how bad can you feel when you’re helping other people and doing well for your family?

Although you should take responsibility for your actions, you can’t punish yourself forever. You must forgive yourself, as you would forgive others. Of course that doesn’t mean to forget and make the same mistakes again.

Learn from your errors, but you deserve to feel good about yourself and the positive things you have accomplished. Leave the guilt behind and get motivated. Don’t let it drag you down and keep you from achieving greatness.
