Different people have a different mind-set and this depends on their approach towards reaching their goals and acquiring success. Do you have a fixed or growth mind-set?
Let leadership speaker Andy Core discuss a fixed mind-set and figure out what kind of mind-set you have.
A person who has a fixed mind-set thinks that his skills are in-born. He needs to maintain a good personality so that people will continue looking up to him. Unfortunately, a person with a fixed mind-set is afraid to accept challenges as he believes he may not be able to keep up with the pressure and might fail in the end, thus, ruining how people look at him. He’d rather stay in his comfort zone and continue acquiring knowledge and achievements on what he knows.
A person with a fixed mind-set thinks that a criticism at work may directly hit them. Like, if errors occur, it’s parallel to a person’s whole being. He takes criticism seriously and personally, which may result to failures in the end.
Work it Out
If you have a fixed mind-set, you must learn how to overcome it. Challenges are made to be accomplished and should never be something to be scared about. Prove yourself and let people know that you are more than what they think you are. Let leadership speaker Andy Core guide you towards a better goal.
