You should value your employees by conducting workplace wellness programs at least once or twice a year. If you are not familiar with this, it is a health check program that assesses the condition of an employee, if he’s capable to work or would be better if he were to stay at home. Figuring out the condition of your employees is essential, as they are primarily the body of your business. The future of your business relies on how they perform. Because of that, you have to be certain that they are all capable of doing the tasks you will be placing on their shoulders.
However, how will that be even possible if they are always sick? How will that be possible if they frequently leave their work area to rest? These should be controlled and with a proper workplace wellness program, things will turn out the way you want them to be.
Have your employees assessed by reputable doctors. In case they are sick, at least offer some healthcare benefits. Your employees need support coming from you, but admit it you need them more. So spending some dollars for their health should never be an issue, granting the fact that they are there to keep your business working.
