any kind of exercise!

Have you been struggling with weight loss lately? Maybe the weight is coming off too slowly or it might be that you have simply hit the infamous weight loss plateau. Is there anything you can do in order to lose body fat more efficiently and effectively? Well, there certainly is and it’s a method that been employed by fitness enthusiasts around the world to get rid of that stubborn fat.

The technique is known as High Intensity Interval Training and is short for HIIT. HIIT involves one toggling between intervals of high intensity and low intensity physical activity. A low intensity activity is any kind of activity where you are meant to sustain your heart rate up to 60- 70 % of your Maximum heart rate. You can choose it to be anything, from a moderate paced walk to complete rest.

Whereas in the case of high intensity training you are supposed to get your heart rate up to 80-90% of your maximum heart rate or above.  Few examples include sprinting, swimming etc at a high pace.  You can incorporate the HIIT method for any kind of exercise like hiking, swimming or dancing etc.  You just need to have intervals in your exercise where you perform at high intensity followed by performing at a slow pace.
