Why Not You?
Some people have been working in the same company for years, but have never been promoted. Others are promoted within the first few months of them entering the company. The question is, what is the difference? Why is there more productivity in the workplace with some people? There are a few things that will be addressed pertaining to these questions.
One aspect of being promoted is being on time to work and knocking off when you are supposed to. Some people take this for granted, but this is an essential part of you being noticed in the workplace by your employers. Secondly, work hard and do your work with excellence. Excellence simply means doing the best that you can with the resources that are available. Always creating goals on how you can be more productive will help. Instead of doing the required amount of work, try going the extra mile with a glad heart and a cheerful spirit. Thirdly, getting on with your fellow workers is fundamental in you working in peace without any strife. Strife in the workplace reduces your concentration levels on the job and makes you think about things that will not make you productive in the workplace.
Productivity in the workplace is therefore something of paramount importance to an employee hoping to climb the corporate ladder.
