It seems like certain people never think before they act. That can be a dangerous way to live. However, living life in an overly cautious manner can be the wrong way to go as well. You should try to find a balance between the two, and take chances occasionally, at least when it feels really right.
Planning and a positive attitude will take you very far in life, but unless you’re willing to take a bigger chance every once in a while, great successes may be out of your reach. Most people cannot afford to take big chances all the time, but through an occasional decision that’s a bit out of your norm, you can score big.
Whether it’s an investment that could result in a big payoff or a relationship choice with someone who isn’t normally your type, you may want to proceed with caution. But if it really feels like the right thing to do, your instincts may be right.
Of course you shouldn’t do anything that will put you or your family in danger, but if you want something badly, and it you think it will be worth the risk, you may be right.
